My inspiration, I'm mostly alone. My education, life and everything that I have experienced in my childhood and my youth. Personally, I think it all starts here. I grew up on magazines like Häuser, Das Haus, Schöner Wohnen (all three are actually architecture magazines), Vogue, Elle, AMICA and legendary Burda and Svijet (read as Sweeyet). Then was followed by Wallpaper Magazine and InStyle ... I like reading also fashion magazines for men like par ex. GQ :). My inspiration are as well as films and film costumes in particular from 50-ies, 60-ies and 70-ies years, and film icons associated with them. Music was and is a big part of my life so please don't forget on rock, punk, grunge and on classic british pop icons as The Beatles, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Verve, Depeche Mode ... In the last time my teenie son really rocks and, of course, he is also my big inspiration! Gosh he's got a style - totally easy, comfy and cool! Fine Arts and galleries are literally food for my body and soul. My home is full of paintings and art objects as well. My favorite painter is Renee Magritte. I like as well Rembrandt van Rijn, Peter Paul Rubens and Francisco Goya, Monet, Edgar Degas and Egon Schiele.
My dress style is spontaneous and fundamental principle: the first combination is always the best combination. Typical for me - I never wear the same! You will never see me twice in one single combination, because I never have a plan! I buy every season some basic things and then mix all these with some old clothes of the previously and that's it. I do not like "uniforms" and small - town ways: - everything in its place (and expensive brands at any price)! Although this is not redundant when it comes to elegance and classic, which is with me in the first place. All proceeds from the here and beyond! In the closet should always to be place for: - a good cool wool suit, a white blouse, black heels, LBD, black bag and black dramatic sunglasses and lace! Colors - great! My favourite color - does not exist. Or, all this is changed - the mode of mood, fashion and eternal teacher - life. Once the above - once below. Once black please - once red please. Once shabby chic - once Parisian chic. Most importantly: all is acceptable! C'est la vie!
Notwithstanding the all, my inspiration are also people from streets and street style around the world, so I read the following blogs below, which are closest to my style and taste and I want to be as authentic as I can. I really hope, that maybe I'm an inspiration for the others too. So, be my guest!
